Presentation: Outdoor Gear and Clothing Expo with L.L. Bean

On Thursday November 15 the AMC Maine Chapter and L.L. Bean’s in Freeport are teaming up for an educational look at new gear and clothing for the upcoming seasons. Learn about what qualities are important when buying new equipment. Join L.L.Bean’s Outdoor Equipment Team members Kurt Hiesler, Mike Simensky
and Scot Balentine for a lively discussion on Equipment Product Design and
Development. This trio, with over 75 years of combined product design and
development experience, will discuss the evolution of products from the
initial concept to delivery to the customer. There will be plenty of time for questions and individual discussions after the presentation. Join L.L. Bean employees, Chapter members, and friends at the L.L. Bean Casco Conference Center (second floor) at 15 Casco Street in Freeport, ME 04032, for a potluck dinner at 6pm and the expo at 7pm. Bring a potluck item to share and, if possible, your own dinnerware (plate, utensils etc.). Drinks will be available. The expo will begin at 7pm and is free and open to the public.
