Young, Accomplished Hiker Climbs Katahdin

Jordon Romero climbed Katahdin earlier this summer. But that is not the only summit under this 15-year old’s belt. He has also climbed Mt. Everest, the world’s tallest peak, as well as the tallest peaks on the six other continents- the fabled Seven Summits! And all were done with his father and stepmother. So what is this young man up to now? He has kicked off a 50-state hiking tour called “Find Your Everest,” and he kicked off the tour right here in the great State of Maine on Katahdin. The tour’s goals are about getting outdoors, being healthy, and doing things as a family and setting goals.
