Please welcome our newest Chair – John Ellingsworth, Outings Chair

John is an outdoors enthusiast and an avid hiker, having hiked mountains across the United States, and recently, New Zealand.  In 2020 John completed the NH 48 4000 footers, and is hoping to complete the NE67 by August of this year.  John has section hiked many parts of the Appalachian Trail, and a complete thru-hike is on his bucket list.  In April, he completed the MA section of the AT with some friends; CT is next. John also enjoys trail running, canoeing, playing with his dogs Ghost and Pepper, and hanging out (hiking!) with his wife Christy and daughters Madison & Georgia.  When not outdoors, he is a software security professional at IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. in Maine.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA, and moved to Stroudwater, Maine in 2009.
