New AMC Book- “Mountain Voices”

“Mountain Voices: Stories of Life and Adventure in the White Mountains and Beyond” compiled by authors Doug Mayer and Rebecca Oreskes is a collection of fifteen interviews that appeared in Appalachia over the years. The four sections of this book are on “Mountaineering”, “Conservation and Wildland Ethics,” “Life on the Trails,” and “Work in the Whites.” The stories talk of travel and adventure, as well as the spirit of a place, with interwoven wit and passion.
