Maine Chapter Becomes Teens to Trails Partner

The Maine Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club is excited to announce it has become a Teens to Trails partner. Teens To Trails is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing opportunities for Maine teens to experience the out-of-doors through a variety of programs that promote creation of high school outing clubs statewide. The Maine Chapter will participate in the upcoming 1-day conference: the T3 Spring Thing Saturday March 9 at Windham High School. In the coming months the Maine Chapter Youth Program hopes to work with Teens to Trails to support the development of high school outing clubs. AMC members can support Teens to Trails by purchasing tickets for the Maine Outdoor Film Festival March 9 at Windham High School and May 4 at Cony High School in Augusta.
