Mountain Bike Trails in Piscataqius County

The Piscataquis County Commissioners have received funds from the federal Recreational Trails Program administered by the Maine Department of Conservation’s Bureau of Parks and Lands to construct a 15-mile mountain bike route in the Roach Ponds Tract. The route will combine new single track with existing logging roads. Volunteers with New England Mountain Bike Association will help with the layout and design, while a large portion of the construction will be done with AMC trail crew.
