Join the Executive Committee!

The Maine Chapter executive committee is looking to fill several open positions. Whether you have participated in trips, are a seasoned leader, or are newer to the AMC, anyone who supports the AMC mission is welcome to get more involved in one of these roles. Member at Large (2 open positions): a versatile position that coordinates a wide range of projects, including new initiatives, working closely with the Chapter Chair and collaborating with the entire ExComm to support Chapter goals.

Programs co-chair:  Preference to someone in Southern Maine to help facilitate events and speakers in person for the greater AMC member community. Help to plan the chapter Annual Meeting, work to help deepen member engagement with the community.

Chapter Vice Chair: Are you someone who likes to see the big picture?  Spend time getting to know your Chapter operations and how the larger AMC organization works while preparing to take over the role of Chapter Chair. You need to be good at motivating people to work as a team, have great organizing skills, be able to delegate tasks, and most importantly have a passion for AMC.
