Couple Hiking the East Coast Greenway

A young couple plan to hike 2,500+ miles- from Calais, Maine to their home state of Florida- on the East Coast Greenway. But not just for the heck of it or for themselves; it’s to raise awareness and funds for veterans and military families. Matt served as a medic in Iraq in 2003 and wants to raise awareness about the struggles of military families when they return to civilian life. During this 6-7 month journey they will be meeting with Congressmen, mayors, high schools and others to spread their message.
