We are excited to announce that Tom Wessels will be the afternoon keynote speaker at the Maine Chapter’s FallFest and Annual Gathering, held at Camp Wavus on Saturday, October 26th.

Tom Wessels, a renowned ecologist and author, has penned several influential books, including Reading the Forested Landscape: A Natural History of New England and Forest Forensics: A Field Guide to Reading the Forested Landscape. As Professor Emeritus at Antioch University New England, Tom has led numerous workshops on ecology and sustainability nationwide. His work delves into the natural and cultural history of landscapes. Schedule of Events with Tom Wessels:
- 12:30 to 3:00 PM: Join us for a two-hour interpretive walk at a nearby location. (Sign-up required; registration is open. The cost is $15 per person.) Sign up here
- 4:00 to 5:00 PM: Attend a free one-hour indoor interpretive photo presentation just before happy hour. Sign up here
