AMC President Andy Falender to Retire

After 23 years of service to the Appalachian Mountain Club, current president and former Executive Director Andy Falender has decided to retire in January 2012. Since 1989 he has worked towards AMC’s mission of conservation, recreation, and education as well as partnered with like-minded organizations and worked with volunteers along the way.
