Join us on Thursday, October 3 to hear Maine native Wayne Newton share his story of walking non-stop 2,660 miles from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail. Hiking for five months straight, he walked from Mexico to Canada through seven national parks, including Sequoia, Yosemite, Rainer, and the North Cascades. Hear how he did it and marvel at his great slides. The Curtis Memorial Library is located at 23 Pleasant Street, Brunswick, 04011. A potluck dinner begins at 6 pm; the presentation at 6:45 pm. Bring a potluck item to share and your own dinnerware (plate, utensils etc.). Drinks will be available. For more information, please download a flyer (164 KB PDF) or email Meetings and Education Chair John Mullens. All events are free and open to the public.
