Teen Wilderness Adventures for 2013

It’s not too early to sign up for summer teen Wilderness Adventures with the AMC for 2013! Teen Wilderness Adventures offer exciting and rewarding outdoor adventures in Maine, the White Mountains and Lakes Regions of New Hampshire, and in the Berkshires in Massachusetts for youth ages 12 to 18. New for 2013, we are adding trips for older teens including Wilderness First Aid and Rescue Training and our brand new Apprenticeship in Wilderness Leadership Program! Summer trips range in length from 5 to 20 days, and many of them combine different outdoor elements such as hiking, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, mountain biking, and rock climbing. These group activities also foster an appreciation for the environment as well as emphasize teamwork and developing self-esteem. See this web page for more information.
