Winter Workshop

The winter workshop was cancelled on December 17th due to weather, but has been rescheduled for Wednesday January 9th! Please join experienced winter leaders Peter Broderick and Laura Flight on the evening of Wednesday January 9 for an introduction to clothing, gear, snow travel, and taking care of your self in the winter in outdoor settings. Learn to stay warm, dry and functional. This event is intended as an introduction course for experienced three-season hikers and a refresher for experienced winter adventurers. Although the focus of the workshop is on winter hiking, many of the topics will be an excellent “things-you-need-to-know-before-you-go” for anyone who will be spending time out-of-doors this winter. This evening workshop will be held at the Gilsland Farm Audubon Center at 20 Gilsland Farm Road in Falmouth, ME 04105.
