New Book: “Baxter State Park and Katahdin”

A new book has been recently published as part of Arcadia Publishing’s images of America series called “Baxter State Park and Katahdin.” Local Maine authors John Neff and Howard Witcomb compiled 226 photographs (many never before published) and the stories that go with them. From the park’s geology to its Native American history, this book tells the history of the park and the mountain. Read a review.
