Family Hiking Day on the AT

Saturday September 24 is Family Hike Day on the Appalachian Trail (AT). From Georgia to Maine, families are encouraged to take a walk on their favorite section of trail to instill and introduce to children the value of the great out-of-doors and an active lifestyle. This day is held in coordination with National Public Lands Day. So- Moms, Dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents; please take children for a hike on the infamous AT!
