Proposed 2026 Slate of Officers & Committee Chairs

The following information is posted in accordance with AMC Maine Chapter Bylaws §4.4 (Nominating Committee and Nominations). This notice fulfills the Chapter’s annual election posting requirements and provides details for both the official slate of nominees and the process for additional member nominations.

Notice of Slate Posting (Bylaws §4.4)

In accordance with AMC Maine Chapter Bylaws §4.4, the Nominating Committee has prepared a slate of candidates for each elective position and verified each nominee’s consent to serve. The complete slate has been submitted to the Chapter Secretary and is being posted here at least thirty (30) days prior to the Annual Meeting, as required. Questions may be directed to the Chapter Secretary.

Additional Nominations by Members (Bylaws §4.4) *

In accordance with AMC Maine Chapter Bylaws §4.4, any ten (10) Chapter members may nominate an additional candidate for any elective position.

Written nominations must:

• Be received by the Chapter Secretary, Chapter Chair, or Nominating Committee Chair no later than ten (10) days before the Annual Meeting,

• State the office to be filled and the proposed candidate’s name,

• Include the candidate’s written consent to serve if elected, and

• Be signed by ten (10) current Chapter members in good standing.

Nominations meeting these criteria will be added to the official slate and announced at the Annual Meeting.
