In 2026, we celebrate 150 years of that legacy with the AMC 150th Relay — a 1,500-mile journey from Virginia to Maine!

What Is the AMC 150th Relay?

The AMC 150th Relay invites hikers, paddlers, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages to join a remarkable, community-powered journey.

The route winds through iconic landscapes and AMC destinations — from the rolling ridges of Virginia to the rugged mountains and wild coasts of Maine — with city celebrations, local gatherings, and volunteer-led relay segments along the way.
