That’s what Don Briggs in Iowa has been doing for 10 years. He was frustrated with the lack of ice climbing options. So the physical education instructor at the University of Northern Iowa took matters into his own hands. He took a garden hose with an attached shower head and turn on the water! It freezes to the metal bands holding the silo together, and voila- a vertical ice fall! See the full story here.
